Newcastle Thunder have made two changes from the 19 man squad for Sunday’s opening Kingstone Press League 1 home game of the season against London Skolars, as the team look to make it 14 wins on the bounce in competitive fixtures.
There is a change a piece in the backs and forward that Mick Mantelli will select his match day 17 from as the team look to build on an impressive win away to Workington Town last weekend.
In the backs, Lewis Young returns in the place of Zach Clark, while in the forward, Corbyn Kilday comes in for Jack Aldous, with the former York City Knights man missing out through an popped rib sustained early in last Sunday’s game in Cumbria.
Confirmed teams will be announced one hour prior to Sunday’s 3pm kick off
