Rennie & Teroi confident for Magic Friday

19th May 2017

Cook Island internationals, Vincent Rennie and Aaron Teroi say Thunder are in a confident mood heading into tonight’s Magic Friday fixture against York City Knights following last week’s performance against Toronto Wolfpack.

After scoring the most points against the Canadian side to date in a League 1 fixture, the team’s sights are trained on taking a win from their local derby, with the pair stating last week's game sees them in good stead.

Speaking to Thunder TV at the Magic Weekend launch event, Rennie said: “We’re feeling pretty good, we’re coming off the back of a pretty good performance against Toronto. We thought we probably could have capitalised a lot more on opportunities there but I though the overall team feel was really good and positive and hopefully we can kick onto the game against York.”

Teroi added: "Putting that effort on, I feel more confident coming into the York game so hopefully, if we can keep the same tempo and energy, then we can do good against York.
