Newcastle Thunder are expecting a big crowd for the first Kingstone Press League 1 home game against London Skolars this Sunday and the club is responding to ensure fans can enjoy their day to its fullest.
In order to meet expected demand, supporters will be able to access an enhanced range of bars and refreshment kiosks, with the club opening facilities in the South Stand to complement the usual East Stand offerings.
It means that supporters will be able to enjoy enhanced speed of service, with prices set uniformly across the two areas, with pints starting from just £2.80.
Making use of the South Stand food kiosks also means supporters can enjoy an increased range of food options on the day.
The Tap & Tackle, which will be open to supporters from 10 am, will serve a range of food options including Bacon butties, Cheeseburgers and cold sandwiches while the South Stand will serve, in addition to the above, Hot Dogs and chips with curry sauce and gravy accompaniments available.
With a Man of the Match presentation post match and the opportunity to mix with the side in the bars, a happy hour will be in place in the Tap & Tackle from 6 pm until 7 pm allow fans to round out their day in good company.
