Thunder Community Department gets Blogging!

Story in brief:To keep supporters up to date with whats going on behind the scenes, the community department will be posting regular blogs.
Keep up to date with what the Community Department are up to by reading their latest blogs on the Community section of the website. The first instalment by Community Development Manager, Sam Shaw-Kew, is online now and will be followed by further blogs from our Community Coaches and even Captain Thunder might get in on the act! While you are there make sure you have a look around the Community section, brush up your rugby league skills in the skills area or see what events are coming up around the North East that you can be a part of.
If all this technology isn't really your thing why not catch up with the Community Department in the flesh by visiting the Gateshead Thunder area at this Sunday's Sport Relief Mile event in Saltwell Park, Gateshead. Community staff will be running coaching drills and competitions from 10am on the 21st March 2010 and may even put on their running shoes for the mile event itself! So come down to Saltwell Park and help Gateshead Thunder rise to the challenge!
Community Development Manager, Sam Shaw-Kew, commented "With the new website now up and running we are keen to keep our supporters up to date with what's going on in our department. We are excited by the new challenges we face this season, both on and off the pitch.
